Crowdfunder launches new £500,000 Cost of Living Resilience Fund

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Cost of Living Resilience Fund, that will support projects helping individuals and communities navigate and overcome the challenges posed by the cost of living crisis.

As living expenses continue to rise and affect people’s quality of life, the Cost of Living Resilience Fund is designed to empower initiatives and community organisations across England to address these pressing issues.

The Fund provides match funding for social sector organisations running services to help people struggling with the rising cost of living. The fund will increase the sustainability of these organisations by supporting them to deliver projects which increase enterprise activity to build stability and resilience.

The programme is funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment. They work to  make sure that charities and social enterprises can access the finance they need to sustain or grow their  impact. They provide patient and flexible investment through blended finance and boost the resilience of  charities and social enterprises through enterprise development. This collaboration with Crowdfunder will enable projects to raise increased amounts for their campaigns with projects able to apply for up to £50,000.

Eligible causes for the Cost of Living Resilience Fund may include, but are not limited to, organisations focused on affordable housing, food security, sustainable transportation, debt advice, and reducing household expenses.

Rob Love, CEO of Crowdfunder, commented: “We’re delighted to have partnered with Access – The Foundation for Social Investment to be able to offer this funding to social sector organisations across England.” “We understand the financial pressures that people are facing, and we believe in the power of crowdfunding to drive positive change. Organisations supported by the Cost of Living Resilience Fund will in turn be able to help individuals and communities by providing them with the financial resources to create innovative and sustainable solutions to rising living costs.”

Applicants can visit the dedicated fund page on the Crowdfunder website at to learn more about the application process and submit their projects for funding consideration.
